Dr's Dictums: Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness

From one Dr to another Dr let’s talk about the new Dr Strange In The Multiverse of Madness and what its going to do to your brain. In case anybody was wondering why Sam Raimi got another shot at a comic book movie after almost twenty years of not doing one it is when Marvel decided to make a Marvel meets the Evil Dead type flick. Dr Strange has zombies and ghosts and demons and magic and plays like a horror movie with Sam Raimi tropes all over the place including a cameo from Bruce Cambell and the Sams old yellow Olds. The movie picks up right after Spiderman No way Home messed with Universes and the Animated What If series from Disney + as Dr Strange has to not only save his own Universe but multiple ones. The movie attempts to blow your mind with effects and multiple universes and multiple cameos from all over the marvel universe but is really at its best when the characters get to be themselves suspense which he is one of the best. The Dr gives the Dr 4 out of 5 hands with this movie…..it may not go down as one of Marvel’s best but is a fun way to spend a few hours in the dark….assuming you can keep up….
